Robert Gabriel Helenius “The Nordic Nightmare” born 2 January 1984, is a Finnish professional heavy weight boxer.
As an amateur, Robert had already entered over 200 matches and earned two bronze medals in the Junior European Championship, one silver in the Senior European Championships and countless gold medals in the Finnish championships.
Robert made his debut as a professional in 2008 and has subsequently entered 25 matches with 24 wins and one loss.
Roberts’s track record as a professional include two European Championships (EBU), the European Union Championship, as well as several other titles (WBA, WBO, IBF).
Robert has also defeated earlier world champions such as Lamon Brewster, Siarhei Liakohovich and Samuel Peter.
In 2011, Robert was already ranked as No. 2 in the world in heavy weight boxing. It’s been over 70 years since a Finn (Gunnar GeeBee Bärlund) has been able to challenge the world elite in heavy weight boxing.
Robert is the big name in professional boxing in Finland and he has a large global following, especially in Germany, Russia, the Baltic and the Nordic countries. No other Finnish boxer has as much impact as Robert on a national or international level.
The focus of the venture is to be world champion, thereby putting Finland on the map as a boxing nation.
